Sniper training hits the mark

FORT MCCOY, Wis. -- U.S. Army National Guard snipers are highly trained assets whose value and capabilities are often overlooked during large scale training events such as the National Guard's eXportable Combat Training Capability, also known as XCTC. Staff Sgt. Joe Bastian, a sniper observer/controller/trainer with the First Army's 1st Battalion, 335th Infantry Regiment -- and a former active-duty sniper himself -- wants to help change that.
