Today, I was going through an old box of papers and other materials, when I happened upon one of those little packs of tissue that you find at most any drug store! This (unopened) pack, however, was imprinted with the Red Cross Logo, and I remembered that I had attained it back during the Cedar Fires of San Diego County of a year ago, this past October!

The imprinted message upon the plastic cover of this 10 pack of individual tissue said, and I quote:

A GIFT OF THE AMERICAN RED CROSS

Might I respectfully suggest that The American Red Cross re-evaluate this statement, and re-phrase what they said on this (and other containers) to read:

?A GIFT OF THE CARING PEOPLE OF THE UNITED STATES, DISTRIBUTED BY THE AMERICAN RED CROSS!?

For after all is said and done, it was the people themselves who?s generosity provided this and other items to the needy and the hurting, as many of us truly were, back during (and after) the tragic fire storms that ravished our area!

?From the bottom of my heart - I too, thank you very much on behalf of us all!?

Good point, Friend.

It is wrong that The Red Cross makes it seem like THE REMAINING 60-70%(?) of the 100% donated by The American People,...actually comes FROM THEM. Since, the total truth of the matter is that even The 30-40%(?) of dollars that never leave The Red Cross Offices (and there MANY),...ARE ALSO TOTALLY donated by The American Public.

Give credit where credit is due.
Just don't take it all yourself (plus: "30-40%(?)")
