First of all, it is about time that those in power (and those who rely upon those in power), realize, once and for all, that the people of “Our Great Nation” don’t owe them one blessed thing! Not reverence, not worship, not celebrity status, and certainly not our silence! They work for us and they rely upon us, in one way or another, for their living!

“In short, the people run this government and its multiple bureaucracies, and not the other way around!” Respect and courtesy are all well and good, but they had damned well better get it through their heads – “WHO CONTROLS WHO!!”

The problem is, again in my opinion, that vast portions of “Our Government” are not doing their jobs! And they have been getting away with this for so long now that they think it is their right to treat our citizenry like chattel or personal property, instead of the people who pay the bills (taxes), bleed-out on battlefields, break our backs in one way or another, promote the general welfare, and see to it that our kids will have a decent and patriotic country to grow up in!

“You owe no one servitude, you owe no one undeserved respect, and you owe no one a bow from the hip – we left all of that behind us upon a thousand battlefields, and by damned, we should not be forced to pay for the same real estate over and over again!”

Once again – Give respect where respect is earned and due, but pay homage to no man – not upon this sacred and blood soaked soil that is “The United States of America!!”

Lastly, never allow any individual, not now, and not ever, to ‘Complicate and Confuse” that which is written out in plain and easy to understand language within “Our Constitution, and Our Bill of Rights!”

“These Documents are Our Property” and the tenets laid down within them are not open to bastardization or negotiation!

“AND SO IT IS!!”

The problems I see today are not so much caused by our earlier History - but rather the history that they will write about from this day on. We who served understand leadership but those in politics seem to have separate personal agendas. It seems the last few generations of leadership fly their own flag rather than the US Flag. The administrations come in and rewrite over the prior ones in order to discard them altogether or to deface them as unnecessary points of view.

The Team Work that we in the military have - far surpasses the governments agenda. I could be mistaken but I feel we are being short-changed by the issues currently underway in this congress & administration?

We need folks who care about the US People and this Country and their welfare. We need the USA to be No.1 on all agendas. Foreign elements are just that foreign. They also have their agendas that they try to spin off on the US. Here is our the dilemma. Compromise - Yes to a degree - "but the US comes first" and if it doesn't - now we have issues.

These so called Political Leader's of late are way too much into themselves rather than the issues of the People. We will always be here - but they won't be. Self glorification in leadership results in poor output and management in my book.

and pretty-soon our Honorable Lords & Lady Masters will send you to The Gulag,...or at minimum sig the IRS on you.

Betcha the IRS wouldn't even let you plead: "The Fifth", like they and other U.S. Oath-taking Criminals now quite normally do.
