The fate of veterans services in Nye County, Nv., could be determined by market conditions for prostitution, which is legal in Nevada.

The county is considering a plan that would keep its veterans service office and some other departments afloat by raising prostitutes' licensing fees from $62.50 per quarter to $100.

The county needs $166,000 to save the jobs of two veterans service officers.

To make the idea work, though, the county is wrestling with the delicate issue of how to encourage brothel patronage so it will also have enough funding to pay for other county services, like ambulances.

Once more into the breach, for God and Country lads!!!!!

On another note, two candidates for office in Pahrump got so mad that they pulled leather on each other. On stage, in front of a crowd, looking down the barrel of each others pistol. The sheriff sent three female deputies to calm them down. My daughter was there, right behind one of the candidates so she was looking down the barrel also. Things were a bit tense, to say the least!!!!

However, in an effort to assist in the plight of the veterans services personnel, I'll plan a trip to Nevada.
