Default Poll about prostate cancer

Just curious. You don't have to answer if you don't want to. You can answer for someone else that may go to Psyco Mtn. but doesn't post here...

Just answer with your age, Vietnam veteran, and whether you have been diagnosed with prostate cancer or not.

( it appears the rate of prostate cancer is 1 in 6 overall )

Me....59...Vietnam veteran = yes ...NO

Thanks.

Larry

Self: Vietnam veteran, 59 years old.
yes, Ive been diagnosed with prostrate cancer---see post in Vietnam section---I'm on the way to being cured and am I happy! Now I can continue my lifetime goal of being the Oldest Living Vietnam Veteran
I am the only Vietnam veteran in my family and I am the only known case of prostate cancer in my family. Coincidence?
Stay good
James

Default Packman

Age 58, Vietnam Vet, No diagnosis of prostate cancer. Last PSA 1.3

Every Vietnam Vet should get checked TWICE a year for prostate cancer....not the customary once.

Default Pack,...

Over 10 years older than you, not a Vietnam Vet nor have had prostate cancer either.

Still, am curious why you previously suggested getting checked TWICE yearly for such?

Your having had & licked same, aren't/weren't there any tell tale signs or bothersome pains
or feelings telling you that better get checked by a doctor,...QUICKLY & AT LEAST ONCE?

I know that: "The Big C" in general some nasty s--t,...and best nipped-in-the-bud.
Still, I try staying away from The White Coats as much as possible since they're mostly
just too-damn-pill-happy (push pills for everything),...for my liking.

So far, the theory that: "If it doesn't hurt leave it alone" has worked well for me.
Hope I stay well & lucky??

Neil

Default I have a friend.

Todd, Age 59, a Vietnam vet was diagnosed with prostate cancer at least ten years ago. He's doing well, lives and works in Spokane, WA.

I'm sixtythree and never been diagnosed with cancer. But I was stationed stateside during Vietnam.
