Thinking about getting back in the reserves

I've been thinking about it for a while. Even before 9/11. My daughter left for Parris Island December 9th, giving me more motivation to get back in. I had talked to the prior service recruiter for the reserves. Whats holding me back you may ask..my age is one i'm 38 would have to get a waiver to get back in. The recruiter didn't think it would be a problem though. When i got out i was a L/Cpl with almost 3 years time in grade. Just wonder what rank I would be when i get back in. Also if i get activated going from my salary now to the military pay..BIG ouch.
How hard would it be to take orders from an 20 y/o cpl or sgt. It would be awsome to be back in when i get to see my daughter graduate from PI on 3/7/03. I just wanted to get others thoughts.

Paris is in France......Parris Island is in South Carolina.....good luck in whatever ya do about goin back in.....ya probably gonna find out it ain't the same.......nothin ever is !!

At 47 and 60% Disability, I'd still go back if'n they'd let me. All Marine here.
