How much problem is sniper fire from the Taliban ? Not what the Aussies call " the odd angry shot " but accurate single shots that cause casulties ?

I was reading in smallwarsjounal.com about a "brigade of snipers" .While I doubt the insurgent ability to field a brigade of snipers ,they will certainly be trying to find a solution to Army and Marine snipers.
