Commentary:

9/23/03 - Wow!

Let's see...the GOP Slime Machine is out in force after General Clark,
but their old canards aren't working. They've already tried the same
attacks on him as they did on Al Gore..that of the 'serial liar' with
some realy stupid stuff about calls from the White House and calls from
KKKarl Rove. None were true, of course. But worse, the stories were
cross-contradicted by other righ tWing sources. The Ketstone Kops
couldn't have screwed up any worse! And by the Moron's sinking poll
numbers, it seems the American people aren't buying it either. Hell,
Clark and Kerry are beating him silly in this week's Gallup Poll.

Oh, and to listen to Limbaugh and Hannity and O'Reilly (I can't really
stomach spending any more time listening to any of the other blathering
fools) is truly hilarious. Do these clowns really believe that anyone,
even their most adoring dittoheads are heeding their calls to 'action'
about ANYTHING? They're all making complete assholes of themselves every
time they give credence to the wacky theory that Clark is a stalking
horse for Hillary Clinton! These nutcases make the Area 51 conspiracy
theorists look positively intellectual with their Clinton fixations.

And here's Mr. Mature, Limbaugh today talking about a column in the
"Atlanta Urinal Constipation"...that's the Atlanta Journal Constitution
for the rest of us. This bozo has talent on loan from God and yet he is
little better than some acne-scarred adolescent soiling a sandbox. This
is a a disgrace. No wonder the French feel superior.

No wonder Clark and Kerry are leading the Moron in toady's Gallup Polls.

No wonder Americans are waking up to the lies, deceit, idiocy and evil
of the Right Wing Cabal that has been unopposed for the last few years
in all the Media.

No wonder Clark and Dean and even Kerry have tapped into the vast
reservoir of anger out here in the real America since the Moron and his
Thugs have tried to steal America since 9/11.

There will be tough days ahead as the GOP pulls out all the stops in its
attempt to retain power. They can't afford to lose the Presidency or the
Senate in 2004 because once their corruption and law-breaking begins to
unravel and become public they'll not see the light of day for a long time.

I believe for that reason alone, plus their obscene and unquenchable
lust for power, these people will do anything to retain that power and
control. For that reason, I do not underestimate them and their capacity
for evil. And I hope the Dems and Clark and the rest do not either.
Eternal vigilance is the price of freedom. I hope we don't ever forget
that when it comes to American politics and the GOP opposition. It's no
longer merely politics. It's all out war because the GOP has made it so.

By the way, After have read and reviewed "The Clinton Wars", I'm now
reading Joe Conason's "Big Lies" and will have my review of that posted
soon. Man, I must be a glutton for punishment. But at least I've got
some spy thrillers waiting in the wings. I call them my cerebral laxatives.
