Families of Marines killed in training band together to push lawmakers into action

While tributes helped the families of two Camp Pendleton Marines killed during training exercises process their grief, they remain unclear about what caused the fatalities. They expected their sons eventually would deploy and put their lives at risk, but they didn’t expect either would die while training on base.
