Promotion Party
Just curious if anyone was around or heard about a promotion part in 1966 that had a topless waitress serving drinks?
My Dad made Major in 1966, at the time he had been a Captain for almost 10 years, primarily because he had commanders that did not want to give anyone OER's higher than 7 while the rest of the AF received 8's & 9's Anyway he decided to have "the promotion party" and since we were stationed at Hamilton AFB, SF was just down the road and North Beach! So after several trips, don't know why it took so many trips? He got a waitress from north Beach to work his party. He made "Artillery Punch" which is suppose to be put in a large punch bowl with lots of ice to dilute but my dad put it in the refrigerator so it didn't dilute, the rest is history! I do know at the time this "Party" was the talk of almost every "O" club in the Air Force. Dave |

I believe it is everything you have in the bar!
I'll see if my dad remembers? |
