Unhappy Cardinal Sins

5-18-2022

Apparently, the status quo has become a cardinal sin in just about every aspect of “American Life?” And as such, some erroneously believe that there is nothing about our past that is worth loving, retaining or even nurturing?!

Some portions of our history, in fact, have even come under attack, including our heroic military and “Our Amiable Historical Events!” And even patriotism itself, has occasionally been assailed, but for the record, “Our Nation” has been working quite well for roughly two-hundred and forty-six years now, and neither mortal foe, domestic hucksters, alien dissenters, natural disaster, nor even political intrigue itself, has ever been able to shake it out of existence –

“and that’s a fact!”

And for the record, neither should “Our First Amendment” (THE FREEDOM OF SPEECH), ever be construed to be “A Cardinal Sin”, because without “This Axiom of Liberty”, we truly cease to be the independent, free, and liberty-loving nation that is the idol of much of this planet!

“THE UNITED STATES of AMERICA – Love It For What It Genuinely Is! For - if not perfection itself, it is truly the golden road that leads to it!!” (by - hrt-5/18/2022)

And Once Again –“Truly Loving & Protecting Our Nation Is Never A Cardinal Sin!!”

Default For the none religious folks

Being born and baptised as a Catholic - is only the begining.
-
As the good book relates to & as the Nun's would hammer home
believe it or not - Mortal Sins are also called Cardinal sin's at
times.
-
Note: Are the seven deadly sins listed in the Bible?
-
What are the seven deadly sins in the Bible? (later further down on this thread).

[The Seven Deadly Sins, also known as the capital vices / or cardinal sins, is
a grouping and classification of vices within Christian teachings, although
they "are not" mentioned in the Bible.]
-
But the Colllins dictionary example is as follows;

If you describe an action as a cardinal sin, you are also indicating that some
people strongly disapprove of it. A doctors example of a committed cardinal
sin: I got involved with my patients.

So; in the short version (see below);

1. Theology is any of the seven deadly sins.

2. Informal an unforgivable error or misjudgment
which lacks of impartiality is considered a cardinal
sin in broadcasting circles (or by word of mouth
or caught making assumptions.
(Also it could be our thinking or the box - also fits).

Today regardless of your religion cardinal sins still happen
frequently - either by mouth or media - here's they often
times cross the lines of Cardinal Sin's.
-
[Note: According to Roman Catholic theology, the seven
deadly sins are the seven behaviours or feelings that inspire
further sin. They are typically ordered as: pride, greed,
lust, envy, gluttony, wrath, and sloth.]

Personal note:
-
That's why Catholics all go to confession at the church
and tell the Priest how many sins he or she has committed.
A Few Our Father's and/or alot of Hale Marry's are issed.
Catholics are not perfect - the only one that nearly was -
they nailed to a cross. And there he prayed to his maker
not so much for himself but for all those who suffered
from such torment & brutality.
-
I went to a Catholic grade school and there were some
Nun's that shouldn't have been. Their favorite tool was
their ruler - where she would give you a wack on your
hands or slam it on your desk.
-
Amen
