Looks to be a collector or extractor of some kind. The cork fitting suggests a low-pressure liquid application, perhaps for connection to a bottle or glass tube. Are the large and small tubes on the bottom both open?

Looks like the 1876 Colt .45. The other device appears to be a security mini swivel gun with a trip line actuated trigger. :cd:

Seascamp it is a pour spout for a booze bottle and yes both ends are open. the pistol is a colt .45/4 3/4 inch blackpowder peacemaker, the 2nd one is a 12 gauge burgler cannon good guess on the pistol.

Of course, the small tube is for air back into the bottle, the large tube is for pouring the booze. No glug, glug, glug with this design.

A common and moderately famous adaptation of this design is the NASCAR refueling can. With the can, the air supply tube is seen on the outside of the can and allows the fuel to flow out very rapidly.
