Reopening Alcatraz!

As the United States does not own Devil?s Island, maybe ALCATRAZ (Pelican Island) or the Dry Tortugas should be resurrected from the graves of history past!!

Why you ask, do we need such hellholes incarnate in the Twenty-First Century? Well, in the event that you haven?t noticed, gas and oil prices have been soaring and will continue to do so until enough people do something about it, within the law of course!

When all of this price gouging and profiteering started, right around the time we went to war against Iraq (Iraq II), we were assured that with all of that Middle Eastern gas and oil freed up, gas shortages and fuel rapes were a thing of the past? However, with the body count in Iraq ever mounting, and even Mother Nature flipping us the finger, new projections have gasoline selling for about $4.99.9 a gallon, and damned shortly at that! ?It won?t stop there neither!!?

But what the Hell, did not an old and former Senator from California once say that poor and middle class people did not need gasoline anyway as they had no place to go (CUTE)!! ?The problem was that this bonvivant really meant it in my opinion!!? And so for that matter, does the Powers That Be, right at this very moment!!!!

Not to be outdone, every other greed-mongering industry is beginning to follow suit! However, and it is a fact in my opinion, some if not much of this ?Second Civil War? against the people of the United States (en masse), is being orchestrated by a relatively few, both domestic and foreign alike! People, if you can call them that, who value absolute power and excessive wealth, even above something as trivial (to them) as the existence of you and your family!

Some day, the truth may come out as to how many and how highly placed the vermin were who capitalized on your blood like some modern day Count Vlad (Dracula). By then of course, these scumbags will be nicely settled in at some neo-Berchtesgaden, replete with its high walls, hot and cold running champagne and prime rib! ?Their money safely tucked away in some Swiss or Chinese, numbered bank account!?

This whole scenario reminds me of the Billy The Kid and Dillenger Syndromes. The bigger the thieves and the more we suffer, the more we worship the ass-hole twisting the screws!

Getting back to ALCATRAZ and the Dry Torgugas, when and if we even do discover that there is indeed a conspiracy afoot, maybe we should strip the perpetrators of their ill-gotten gains, tar and feather the bums on national television, and then deport them to either of these two facilities? After all, it is no more than they are doing for us right now - now is it?
