Mark Theodore Romph, a.k.a. Teddy: Feb. 22, 1944 - April 28, 1981.
Special Forces Major Romph served two tours in the Democratic Republic of South Vietnam serving on both Baldy and Skeleton Mountains during those tours.
Major Romph was the only armed forces commissioned officer that didn't demand I salute him.
In 1981 most of our American Government would not recognize the hazards of agent orange which was used to defoliate both Baldy and Skeleton Mountain so that VC Charley had no place to hide on those mountains and its use probably saved the lives of hundreds of American troops BUT, you will never convince me that agent orange didn't kill my brother Teddy.

We remember the ground crews, crawling on their backs underneath aircraft, to scrape the residue off, between sorties... their clothing soaked in it, their hands to eyes and mouth, the stench, the prayer that it would help our fighters... the unending consequences all these years...

God bless them all.
