Good To Go!

In the words of President Bush and Buzz Aldrin (more or less), the United States is ?Good To Go? for a ?Moon Colony?, and yes, even ?Mars Exploration? within the next decade!

President Bush has given the go ahead for planning ?New Moon Colonies? and even ?Mars Exploration? in the not so distant future! ?Finally, humanity may slip its Earthly bonds and journey to where no man has gone before!?

Having two of my three sons involved in Aerospace Engineering (the one in the middle is in Surveillance), I have long realized that mankind will eventually fade away and die (along with Mother Earth Itself), if he does not reach out and touch the face of God!

Natural resources and living space are fast becoming a premium on Earth, and it promises not to get any better in the immediate future, unless we look forward and outward!? As such, the President is planning beyond the confines of ?Terra Firma? for the future of our people. And I seriously doubt if illegal immigration will be much of a factor in outer space, for the foreseeable future in any event! ?Its one helluva hike from Earth to the moon, let alone Mars!!"

Like Kennedy, Bush too seems to realize that mankind is outgrowing his current environment and the resources contained there-in! Of course, the cost of such an endeavor would be monumental, and the expense of transporting anything of real worth back to Earth, may far outweigh the actual value itself?! But it is, after all, within man?s nature to explore, and the President realizes that to stand still, is to move backwards!

?We must indeed look to the future, or be buried forever in the past!??
