Default Alpha Company 7th Engineers

I hope someone can help me. I am doing some research for my dad. He was with the Alpha company 7th Engineers, 1st Brigade/ 5th Infantry division ( Mechanized) and i thought it would be great if he could find his old buddies.

spec E4 Steven L Menke severed in Vietnam from 1969-1971. He was from Brush Colorado. he said that he Knew of a guy named Pineapple. He also said that he was close to the 1/11 Brigade or something like that. IF any one can help me find a Roster or a chat board or email site that would be great.

Thank you for all that you did, and for being a Friend to my Dad.
Margo

Margo...First let me welcome you to the site. Great bunch we have here and we are always looking for a few new "faces" to fill our ranks.

Secondly, I think the best way to go about finding your Dad's old buddies would be to do a search for his unit on Goggle and start narrowing it down from there. Might be supprised what you find there.

Here is the game plan for a DELTA 1/11th 2004 Reunion.

The plan is to hold a Delta 1/11th reunion in Indianapolis Indiana in the fall of 2004. This reunion will be held at the same time and with the Society of the 5th Division's Annual Reunion. Doing this will eliminate a lot of work and planning. The only thing we will have to do on our part is make the room reservations when I get info on what Hotel's will be offered. You have a year and a half to start saving for this trip and it may be the only opportunity you get to meet up with old buddies. Once we announce the name of a hotel, you had better get you reservations in quickly so we will all be in the same hotel together. I will look into getting a hospitality room to meet and party in.
