So Who Really Owns What

Have you ever noticed how “We the People” have now been allocated a back-row, non verbal seat, within our very own government and this just isn’t right, nor is it the way that men like Washington and Lincoln ever intended it to be!

For behind the brave and gallant men and women who founded ‘Our Magnificent Nation’, stand “We the People”, the Americans who have shed their patriotic blood in this nation’s defense, paid the taxes that keep “Our Nation” functioning and who have poured out thousands of gallons of sweat and tears to lubricate ‘Our Country’s Rock-Solid Joints!’

And for the record, it is still “We the People” (those who are the backbone of our democracy), and not those exceptionally well paid political hands who only talk the talk, but who have long since forgotten that it is indeed “WE THE PEOPLE” who pack the muscle, and the power that allows our political representation to even function! “NOW WHERE AND WHEN WAS THIS MESSAGE LOST OR EVEN ABANDONED?!”

And for as long as we legally allow this travesty to go unchallenged or even unchecked, there will always be a scant few elected officials and power brokers, who will continue to milk this fattened cow for all that it is worth!

But once again people – “THIS IS STILL OUR COUNTRY” and those whom we temporarily hire to represent our needs, and our demands, no matter how lofty their titles or positions, or even how grandiose their self-perceptions may be, still serve but a single purpose – and that is to represent, and to enact, “The Public’s Will!”

And unless I have totally lost my grip upon “This English Language”, “We the People”- still means just that - “WE THE PEOPLE!!”
