Ask Me Just How much I Care that Arabs Don't Like it.
I received this e-mail from a friend.....Wanted to share with all.....
We'll start out today talking about that plan the Justice Department has to check the fingerprints of people visiting the US from certain unfriendly countries. The British Reuters ("Terrorists? We don't see any terrorists!") News service runs this headline: "U.S. Unveils Fingerprint Plan. Angers Arab Groups." So, Arab groups are angered? Isn't that just a damn pity? Imagine my distress that Arab groups don't like our Justice Department's plan to keep screen Arabs when they enter the United States. Let's see ... we had one group of Arabs enter the United States and kill nearly 3000 Americans. How long ago was that? Nine months? And didn't we just recently hear from an Arab group called Al Qaeda? Weren't they saying something about coming back and doing even more damage and killing even more Americans? Yup! Seems like I heard something like that just a day or two ago. Now we learn that our Justice Department has quite a database of fingerprints from known terrorists. Some of those fingerprints were lifted off of objects and papers found in Al Qaeda hideouts in Afghanistan. So the Justice Department plan is to get fingerprints from citizens of certain Arab countries when they visit the United States. In a matter of three minutes these fingerprints will be compared with the fingerprints of known terrorists and criminals. Arab groups don't like this. Here's a statement from someone named Nihad Awad. He's the Executive Director of CAIR - the Council on Arab Islamic Relations. "This is yet another in a series of government policies that target Muslims and Arabs as if they are genetically predisposed to violence. What is next, forcing American Muslims to wear a star and crescent as a means of identification for law enforcement authorities?" Sorry to be so blunt about this. It's so unusual for me to be this direct --- but SCREW THEM. I don't give a damn what they don't like. Know what? I don't particularly like Arabs threatening to kill innocent Americans. I'm not real fond of Arabs slitting the throats of flight attendants. I don't get warm and fuzzy feelings about Arabs flying airplanes into office buildings full of people's wives, husbands, parents and children. Look --- Arabs present a security threat to the United States. Not all Arabs, I know. But there's not a day that passes that some Arab group isn't spouting hatred for America and its people and bragging of their determination to kill as many of us as possible. To ignore this threat would be idiocy. Finns don't get fingerprinted when they enter the country. Know why? Because Finns aren't bragging about how many innocent Americans they intend to kill. Here's the dialogue: ARABS: "We're going to kill more of you hideous Americans. We're going to destroy more of your buildings. We will see more of your blood running through the streets." U.S. "Well, if that's the way you feel then we're going to take a little closer look at you when you visit this country. We're going to check your fingerprints against those of known criminals and terrorists." ARABS: "You can't do that! That's not fair! You're singling us out! If you do that to us you have to do that to everybody!" U.S. "But "everybody" isn't threatening us." ARABS: "That doesn't matter. You're supposed to treat us like you do everyone else. You're not supposed to single us out for special treatment. That's profiling and everybody knows that profiling is wrong." U.S. "But you're singling us out for special treatment. Some of your people are threatening to kill as many of us as they can! It's OK if you single us out for death and destruction, but it's not OK if we single you out for special security procedures?" ARABS: "Doh!" If it were up to me we would just be to stop issuing visas to all visitors from Arab countries and any visitors from countries that sponsor terrorism until they clean up their act. Maybe we would be lucky enough to shut the door while Kasey Kasem is overseas. None of these people have any right to enter this country. They do so at our invitation and with our permission. If the security precautions we take are too much for them then they can just rent a camel and head out to vacation in their deserts. Wouldn't bother me a bit. Americans have a right to self-defense. That's why we have a government. We expect our government to take all reasonable and legal actions that it can to protect us from all of those "peaceful" Islamic murderers who are so thirsty for American blood. It seems very fair to me to set up a system that, in essence, says "If your fingerprints don't identify you as a criminal or a known terrorist you're welcome to visit our country. If you don't want to give us your fingerprints, stay home." JF Operations, DOT FJ@benning.army.mil. Sempers, Roger

I'm in full agreement !!!
Here's a little something another vet friend sent me via PM.
Three men were sitting on a park bench. One was an American Indian, with a beautiful large Eagle feather woven into his long black hair. Another was a Muslim, wearing a turban and the third was a cowboy, wearing a stetson and hand-rolling a cigarette. The Indian spoke first, saying, "Once my people were many; now we few." The muslim spoke up saying, "well, once we were few, but now we're millions." The cowboy spoke, never looking up or interupting his cigarette rolling, "Yeah, but that's only because we've just started playing cowboys and muslims."

How far do we go with immigration?
The United States doesn't have near the open spaces it once had. I believe it is time to have extremely strick limitations on immigration from wherever! I know there are people seeking political refuge as my ancestors did back in 1680. Truly persecuted people should be allowed in but so many are coming that are not persecuted and at sometime we must put a stop to all this immigration just to protect our open spaces. I understand that central Nevada and Southeast Oregon and Montana still have wide open spaces but they are getting harder to find. The trouble being is the immigrants always go the the larger cities. Our government needs to really think about just how many jobs are being taken away from the establish population, space for housing, etc. and start curtailing immigration way back, especially for those from "hostile" countries that may try to harm us. But, what do I know I'm just an average citizen.
