Dear Mr. President;

Call it immigration, an invasion, or what ever you please, the fact remains that “OUR NATION” is being bombarded by the illegal immigration that the Democrats refer to as merely a new voting block – and that is a fact!! The time was, when “Our Nation” hungered for numbers in order to populate the vast territory that is “The United States of America” and so they came! The farmers, the factory workers, the inventors, the writers and yes, even the criminals!

As a matter of fact, I just read where “Our State” (California) is being inundated, not by legal residents (people who are yearning to breathe free), but rather, by those who now see “Our Nation” as a giant grab bag and a target of transient opportunity and free rein?
I therefore wish to offer my support in protecting our sovereign borders (borders that I can clearly see from my front door)!! And for the record, I am not some “Sunday Patriot”, but rather- “I am a seven day a week, 24 hour a day, 78 year old American and damned proud of it too!”

My late father had three beach-heads and six battle-stars in WWII, my step dad served on a heavy cruiser in “The Pacific” during “That War”, an uncle or two was in the Merchant Marines, and “My Wife Brenda” is a member at large of “The D.A.R.” etc. Her father served in “The Navy” in “The North Atlantic”, and her uncle (Corporal Melvin H. Morgan, U.S. Army, 24th Infantry Division), is buried in some unmarked grave, out there in “North Korea”, Just To Mention A Few!!

And lastly, we do not consider ourselves to be Northerners, Southerners or even Westerners – “AS WE SIR – ARE LOYAL AMERICANS” (And Damned Proud Of It Too!)

Subject: 2020 Census Wake Up Call
This makes me ill and angry!

As the Wall debate continues...need to look at the connection between open borders AND the 2020 census & redistricting. Illegals cannot vote-but they are (somehow!) counted for the number of House Reps per state.(No wonder the Left puts SANCTUARY STATES & open borders before US citizens.

Most Americans don't realize just how much power and money the Democrats make off Illegal aliens being in our country, even without using voter fraud. This is why they created 'Sanctuary' cities and states.

Simply by including the illegal aliens as part of the population in the US
Census, these states get MOUNTAINS of money from the federal government, (also known as we, the taxpayers). For every 770,000 illegal aliens in a Democrat-controlled area, the state gets another seat in the US House of Representatives apportioned to their area following the census. This is why President Trump attempted to cut off federal dollars to sanctuary cities and states.

After the US Census (performed once every 10 years), the 435 seats in the US House of Representatives are divided up by state populations, and the last one resulted in one seat for roughly every 770,000 people.

So, let's say California has about 4 MILLION non-citizens living there
right now. That means that FIVE of their seats in the US Congress are due to people who are NOT Americans being counted in the Census! This is why the huge push to get illegals counted in the census.

NOW, imagine if by 2020, when they do the next census, they had 10 MILLION non-citizens living in California. That would mean California would get an *additional 10 SEATS* in the US HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES due to non-citizens.

NOW do you understand why Democrats want Open Borders? Next time you hear the bleeding-heart liberals of the Democrat/Socialist Party leadership claiming how they care about these poor illegal aliens, don't believe it. The Democrat/Socialists have found a way to get money and seats in Congress without even having to rig elections! Their lives won't change behind their walled compounds, but the lives of most every other American will change...more taxes to support these illegals, less medical care for US citizens as the system is overwhelmed, overburdened Social Security due to people being added who never paid into it, public schools with lowered performance levels due to being inundated with foreign born students.
