Thanks for the stats scout. Taxpayers are footing the bill for this. And I guess it will continue to be that way.

If the US House stands firm and doesn't buckle under the weight of the bogus Senate bill, there will be some decent immigration reform. With the Senate bill favoring such outlandish things as Social Security benefits being extended to the wetbacks, no wonder the House is digging in their heels in opposition.

Hopefully, the bill that eventually becomes law will have very strict penalties for those businesses hiring wetbacks. As I've stated here before, all of my companies, and those I do business with are in a non-negotiable agreement not to hire any wetbacks for any purpose. Our end-product may cost a bit more, but we have no lack of work.

If one would add the $70 billion as mentioned by Prof. Huddle (a figure higher than my earlier estimates) to the $68 billion that the wetbacks send back to Mexico, it adds up to an exorbitant drain on our economy. And that $68 billion is the SECOND largest part of the entire Mexican economy, right behind PEMEX, the state-owned energy company. No wonder Fox doesn't want these people back - his little corrupt third-world hovel would collapse into even worse shape.

Just a mild point of clarification, the Mexican take from illegal immigrant funds flowing south exceeds PEMEX ( Petrolious Mexicinos) oil sales to the US, but not PEMEX sales in total.

So as El Maximo Vicente Fox states it?s a Mexican citizen?s ?duty? to crash the border, it is helpful to know from whence he comes.
Sweet deal, virtually zero risk- zero cost venture providing revenue to dip their corrupt ?official? beaks in and line their pockets with.
So ya, we?ll see if Mexico elects the Chevez front man-lap dummy, and if so, how much threatened US ?cage rattling? and bellicose language and threats, etc., Mexico City is really signed up for. Talkin the cheep mouth talk is one thing, but getting too far away from the Gringo dollar rip-off scams may be just too painful to comprehend, and a significant change in the corruption cash flow would be a Mexican national calamity beyond description.

Along with the stats noted there is the ancillary damage. Most recently a candidate competing in California?s special Congressional election was actually recorded telling a rally of prospective voters; including illegals, that ? papers? were not needed to vote.

Of course there was much denial and assertions of a ?misunderstanding?, but the transcript is unmistakable, a Congressional candidate was publicly asserting the vote franchise for illegals as de facto, just go do it. To that juncture in time the assertion has been there was no such thing as the ?illegal vote?, but apparently the blabbermouth official candidate blew the op cover story. And there was no happiness in Mudville with that disclosure, I reckon. As a result, the blabbermouth front-runner didn?t get elected and then even more gloom swept over Mudville with that set of circumstances.

Thank You Very Much for The Statistics pretty-much kept secreted from The American Taxpayer and/or SOLE & ONLY PAYERS for such absurdly foreigner pandering and foreigner supporting American Political Dictates.

Also, Thank You Very Much for repeatedly calling all of the MANY MILLIONS of America's criminally illegal entrants by their correct nomenclature and/or as: "Illegal Aliens". Such a proper and correct usage of English in America, is long past overdue.

Nowadays and for quite some time, such were quite deceptively, absurdly and American Citizen-pacifying rhetoric demanded of most in authority as: "Illegal Immigrants",...which actually is quite foolishly and stupidly insulting to all LEGITIMATE "IMMIGRANTS" of This Immigrant Nation called: "America".

Hey,...not all Americans are similarly criminals or law-breakers.
Plus, if We Americans must suffer consequences for such,...how come foreigners don't? Are all foreigners superior and of more importance for those in authority, here in America? Sure seems so.

Regardless, your apolitical and/or honestly informing (quite some rarity these days) stats should be e-mailed or mailed to ALL Americans, and especially those of authority and quite worthlessly taking up office space in Washington, D.C.

Air-dropping flyer's with such honesty (for-a-change) about America's LONGTIME & NEVER ENDING: "Criminally Illegal Alien Invasion" over San Francisco,...couldn't hurt either.
Naturally, such should only be printed in English since if can't speak or understand English,...NO TRUE American should really care or give-a-rat's-a--.
I sure-as-hell don't.

Neil

P.S. America NEEDS NO: "Immigration Reform", as is politically-correctly (excellent oxymoron) and/or quite citizenry-deceiving bandied about adnauseam. Quotas long ago rectified that.
America ACTUALLY & DESPERATELY NEEDS a: "Criminal Illegal Alien Reform".

Plus, SOME citizen pandering instead, and MUCH LESS foreigner pandering by politicians for-a-change,...also couldn't hurt either.

Default Robert...

PLUS,..."Prosecute" any Officials or Representatives(?) not as demanding of and prosecuting of foreigners (here legally or otherwise),...similarly as normally done to The American Citizenry.

After all, isn't it exceptionally and absurdly quite biased and preferential (quite stupidly lordly also) to SOLELY demand Americans be law-abiding or suffer severe consequences,...while foreigners in America NEED NEVER FEAR SUCH?

Don't believe Our Constitution so stupidly claims such MUST BE SO?
Nor, should America's currently prevailing political-correctness similarly and/or so stupidly decree, demand or dictate, in that such an obviously nationally-suicidal nonsense MUST GO ON INDEFINITELY.

Hey,...Don't We The U.S. Citizenry and/or The U.S. Taxpayer ALSO COUNT & ALSO WORTHY OF SOME CONCERN? Used to think so? Whatever happened?
Politicians most certainly and always take care of themselves and foreigners quite well.
Soooooooo,...Why not US, ALSO????????????????

Neil

Seascamp: no telling how much the Mexican guvmintis ripping of the locals when they go to cash the money orders sent by Julio from up north. As since the Mexican banks will deal in US dollars faster they they can say "steek up," I'm sure that the guvmint/private bak take is 10-15%, just for starters. Like you said, no risk - free money. And I wonder what political party it is that is telling the wetbacks that they can vote - "no problema, Senor!"

Neil: perhaps it's my evil twin, but my fingers keep typing wetback instead of any politically correct nomenclature, although I could go along with illegal aliens. Interestingly enough, there is a bill afoot Congress to penalize any city for maintaining a "sanctuary" policy regarding wetbacks, and that means the nearby city of Austin. Couldn't happen to a crazier bunch of whining liberals.
