The presence of horsemeat has caused yet another food recall in Europe. Your next trip to Swedish furniture chain IKEA will unfortunately not include a snack of tasty Swedish meatballs, as IKEA has now withdrawn their Köttbullar meatballs from stores in 24 countries. This recall comes after Czech food inspectors found horse DNA in frozen meatballs at a Brno store. The meatball supplier is located in Sweden, and provides products to a number of IKEA stores across Europe including those in the UK.

The recall does not apply to meatballs sold in U.S. stores.
