Privately Funded Monument Proposed At Huntridge Circle Park

LAS VEGAS -- Groups of Nevada veterans and their families plan to rally at Wednesday’s Las Vegas City Council meeting in support of privately funded memorial plan. (It passed )


The proposal, which would cost $800,000, has already received a recommendation from the Department of Public Works. The City Council is expected to approve the memorial.


The monument would be funded by the Las Vegas Veteran’s Memorial Corporation and built at Huntridge Circle Park on the city’s east side.
