Default Well Easter's come and gone - Next event Momorial Day

I want to wish all you young men and women the very best and let you know that we are all still here thinking of you and how much we appreciate your service to our country.

It seems the bad guys are still sticking thorns into our sides and the games still a foot. We've been discussing several issues over the past few months regarding the circumstances in both Iraq and Afghanistan. We also are getting direct correspondence from some in Afghanistan so we are keep up with your efforts to qualm the radicals.

We also understand that some of you will have extensions which will keep you in the theater a little longer than normal. Just for information purposes I had a 6month extension in 65 in VN so many of us know what you're going through.

The weather here in Chicago so far has been a wet one with periods of cool fresh air. Things are trying to turn green but it will be another couple weeks before it really shows.

Cubs are in last place and the SOX ain't doing much better. Chicago is going to have the 2016 Olympics just in case you didn't know. Most of the guys are getting together to rally the flag and tip a few beers down south. Can't make it wife is pretty sick of late and getting more fragile by the year.

Let me say I am surprised that things didn't go much better for you all during this campaign. You have tuff nut to crack over-there and its the extremist that are rattling the war drums. I'm sure many of the Islamic people want some peace in their lifetime but the radicals aren't going to let this happen easily.

Our prayer's and thoughts are always with you and we look forward to welcoming you home after your tour. God Bless and Stay Safe.

Little post script for the SOX fans Burley pitched a no hitter last night first time since 1991 we've had a no hitter. It was exciting.
