I got pictures of 875 before, and after 173 took the top and then after a few months, all three look very different.
Ther was a upi photographer with the company that was on the hill, he asked everyone if they wanted pictures. Most guys just looked at him, no answer , just walked away looking at him. 875 was just a hill among hills, there were lots in the area and all were bad places. If I gave anyone the impression that this was a 173/4th operation I was wrong, This was a total 173 operation and those guys were among the best fighters I have ever seen. I have seen one or two Firefights. In our small way I hope we helped the 173rd with there mission and I am proud to say that in Kontum and dak To I was WITH the 173rd. Ron |

Lest We Forget
Bringing this forward for the memories of the Sky Soldiers and Ivy Men that fought and died there. Also the ones that fought there and lived, but left a part of themselves on The Hill. I'm proud to call you "My Friend," Ron.
