Post Thanks Tom

Thanks Tom, Kath, Curtis, and Sid,

I thought about Andy and the Family yesterday. I wish I could have made it. I'm glad such fine men were able to represent Patriotfiles. Thanks for your detailed sharing.

Default Thank you so much,

Tom, Kath, Sid and Curtis--------------and God Bless you all for sharing so eloquently your time to honor our fallen brother Andy.

Each of you, just like Andy, are very special people to all of us and we'll never forget how well you represented us at Andys' funeral.

Like Andy used to say "STAY HEALTHY"........we love you all.

Default Just got back from Boston

I have copies of the service for Andy that I will scan and post here tomorrow. Also I'll get a rush on some picture development and get them posted ASAP. I can't add much to Toms description of Andys Service. It was somber and eloquent, I had to get up and tell the story of Andy and Paco getting stopped and Andy showing his police badge to no avail in Jasper Ga. Apparently everyone in East Hampton knows about Psyco Mountain. Annette introduced me to several of her church ladies as "This is Psyco Sid" There is no telling what stories Andy has told about us but They sure know Psyco Mtn in East Hampton Mass. More later

Sid [rt] and I arrive at the church.

I apologize for the size. We're still in VA and we don't have a thumb nail program on this lap top, but I wanted to get these pictures out to everybody.

Knowing Andy as I do, I was a little surprised to see that he had gotten a Good Conduct Medal .

Andy served his community for 28yrs. as a police officer with honor and distinction. The police department showed their respect by having an Honor Guard present at his funeral. Every available officer that wasn't needed for duty attended, including the Chief Of Police of the Easthampton Police Department [next to 3rd Color Guard] and other high ranking officers. The Chief, Bruce McMahon, told of Andy teaching him the ropes when the Chief was a rookie. There wasn't a dry eye in their ranks during the service.
