Default Valcanic repeating arms company

A Smith and Wesson company where Oliver Winchester worked and invested.
The model that the winchester rifel was made.
Valcanic pistol could hold 30 rounds and had a lever which moved forward just like a modern wincgester.
Smith and Wesson made a prototype rifel which resembels the winchester of today. 1854

The VOLCANIC RIFLE and PISTOLE were among the first repeating arms made. They fired a bullet with a recessed base filled with powder in either .31 or .41 Cal. Were very under powered and not very effective. The Henry repeating rifle in .44 rimfire was modeled after the Volcanic and subsequently the Winchester Repeating rifle.
