Arrow Another War

No, not in the Middle East, with the North Koreans, or even the immigration wars along our southern border! This war of defiance is not even against our government and VA for screwing-over veterans and their rights in order to supply more champagne and caviar money to our starving bureaucrats and foreign chums!

Rather, it is a war about something that most Americans can not afford anyway, unless of course, you?re a silver-spooner, or one of those who toss million$ around in an effort to feed your ego through a political power grab!

This war is being waged over that ?Scorpion Looking? delicacy that slithers about in the cold ocean depths - "THE NORTH ATLANTIC LOBSTER!?"

It seems that there is a section of ocean that runs between Maine and Canada (The Grey Zone they call it), that like the old sponge and shrimp fisheries of the Southeastern United States, may just erupt into a nasty little piece of business!

Let?s face it, the Canada and Mexico alike (among others), did not support our actions to tie a can to Saddam?s Tail in Gulf War II. And as such, hard feelings may still be zinging back and forth across certain borders! And if it wasn?t those slimy little lobsters that were in question, it would be cod or maybe even swordfish that was at the center of this international debate?

"But who The Hell Knows, Or Even Cares", outside of those making the big bucks, that is!? Unless, of course it?s the Canadian and New England Lobstermen who are at each other?s throats (or is that gills), over who will harvest these ?Over-Grown Crawdads? from beneath the often-turbulent waters of the Northeast!

I Guess that the word "SHARE" never came to mind though, as both sides claim there just ain?t enough of these ?Decapod Crustaceans (lobsters)? to go around!

I must admit though, that "Canada's Ancestors" from France and Great Brittain, have shared with us before in the past, like back in 1755 and 1776, for instance! "If that is, you can call the Louisanna Purchase and the Revolutionary War gifts?!

Hey, does the names Cornwallis, Yorktown, the Battle of New Orleans, and maybe even "Whup-Ass", ring a bell here! (LOL)

But that was yesteryear, and this is today! We (United States, France and Canada etc) are all bros, pards, amigos and amis now! "Just ask G-Dubya, if won't believe me?!"

And even if a few tempers are flaring up again, and the foe is still wearing a Red Coat (lobster), so what if fishing gear is getting (purposely) snarled, or even if a fist or two has flown over who does, and who does not have an exclusive on the "Deep-Sea Crawlies" that infest this region?" We are still buds, are we not?!"
(NAFTA & All That Other - One-Sided propaganda, so to speak!?)

As for me, an "Ex-Poor Old Massachusetts Lad?, I will just have to stick to eating artificial crab, artificial lobster and articial shrimp (when I can rarely afford even that), and leave sucking-down the real thing to those politicians in Washington!

Not having a six figure political income (not counting graft and sell-outs), I (like many of you) can not afford these ?Spiny Little Bastards? - not the political variety mind you, but rather the ocean-borne lobster itself!!

?Well, at least the lobster does have a spine (Morally Speaking), now how many salty bureaucrats can you say that about!??

Question

To quote "Old Blood & Guts", there shouldn't be some international borders anyway - maybe we should have kept what we gained through "Right Of Conquest?! LOL

Default HARDCORE...

Maybe: "Old Blood and Guts" was right. After all, nowadays it's a big deal if we go for more than 10 years without a conflict in some region. Way-back-when, a conquest that REALLY resolved things sometimes lasted for hundreds of years. Hey,...can't argue with success.

Besides Friend, do you honestly believe that if our enemies ever whipped us,...that they too would be so magnanimous and tripping all over themselves rebuild us (the American norm) and return our country back to us? No way Jose'.

Instead of learning Spanish, we would then all have to learn Arabic, North Korean, or both.
