Default My First Post Here
A mighty hello to all members of this fine group.. I joined the Patriot Files last October, but today will be my first post. I'm a former Navy Pilot (Feb, 1951-May 1971) during the Korean war and Vietnam years. First duty with VC61 squadron on the USS BonHomme Richard CV-31, jocking the F2H Banshee jets, and later with VC61 on the USS Princeton CV-37. Was there the day (7/27/53) when truce was signed. Later with VS-23 flying S2F Trackers. and from there to many duty stations around the globe.
Like to hear from any old fly jocks that may have run into old "skeeter" during those war days.

Welcome skeeter! I just watched the movie "Reign Of Fire" and Coffeville, Kansas was mentioned as where the US Personel came from in the movie. I also believe it's a historical site from the Civil War era. :cd:
