Put me on the "A" party list! My favorite singer/songwriter of all time is Bob Dylan.
And I like 60's and 70's music the best..my mother says I was a soul born a wee bit late.

Default Drowning in nostalgia

and loving it! A couple years ago, my kids "discovered" "Jefferson Airplane", "Cream", and (oddly enough) "The Kingston Trio"!

Kingston Trio, a favorite of mine. Somehow I think of Andy riding the MTA and maybe that?s his issue. ?Will he ever return no he?ll never return and his fate is still unlearned, he?ll ride forever beneath the streets of Boston, he?s the man who never returned?. LOL.

My back fit contemporary favorite is ?Saying goodbye to it all? by Chris De Burg?. On the same album is ?Lady in Red? and certainly a big time favorite of mine.

Fair seas, Bill

Default Yep...

...I can see him now, black dress, tulip stem glass in one hand of some fruit beverage, spilling it on everyone while holding a hang strap in the other saying something about the sandwich today being soggy, and the darn wife keeps taking nickels out of your change purse...
6" stalleto heels with fishnet stockings looking like brillo pads sticking through,...
...It was a dark, and stormy night....,but that was last night...
...Our story begins one fateful morning after a dark, and stormy night, a hulking figure emerges from the dark, and stormy alley somewhere in the Northeast, a dark, and stormy night is again making it's way in...
...He approaches the turnstile, he unleashes a swagger unlike ever seen before, and the masses are scattering for distant cover ...

...yep I could write horror stories for a living now...
.....to be continued.........

Cool The MTA

A California guy who had a guitar and I came up with some Vietnam lyrics for that Charlie on the MTA, gonna try to remember some of them.
***************************
Well we busted out of Tay Ninh doing 90 miles per hour,
When the TC broke out in a fight.
Yeah I ended up in the grass, with a sprocket up my ass,
Were the men who never returned.

(chores)
-But will we ever return,
No we?ll never return,
We?re the men of the Mohawk Mech.
Yeah we may ride for ever through that Vietnam Jungle,
We?re the men who never returned.-

We spent 50 odd days in the Hobo Woods,
When we figured ?twas was bout that time.
Then the old man he come down with another damn order,
Saying, ?Buddy better open your eyes?.

(chores)

Well all day long I ride through the Jungle crying,
What will become of me?
Will it be a bullet or an A.T. mind,
Yes we?re the men of Char-lie.

(chores)

Behind the very next hedgerow stood Victor Charlie,
Just as plain as he could be.
Well he sighted down his tube and he let one fly,
And that was the end of me.

(chores)

Well they policed me up and they put me in a sack,
Oh what a sorrowful sight.
If your ever on an ambush some lonesome night,
You may hear our pitiful cry.

(chores)
*****************
Doesn?t seem like much of a song but after the first six-pack or so it was quite popular.
Our company?s very own drinking song.
Note: a TC is where the guy who fired the .50 sat.
A sprocket was the drive wheel that pulled the track and mades the vehicle go.
A tube was an RPG - bad juju.
Stay healthy,
Andy
