A Road Map To What?

To attain genuine peace, it must be assumed that all sides stride for same?

How many times have I heard international diplomats and politicos insisting that they have the magic pill that will cure all of mankind?s ills! Of course we all know that virtually no top dog (President, King, Prime Minister, Chancellor, or Dictator) is capable on his (or her) own of developing an effective game plan! This art requires the labors of thinkers, planners, strategists, writers, spin doctors, scapegoats, soul sellers and liars, added to the figurehead himself, to perfect! And of course, let us never forget the army of loyal citizens that must stand behind the man!

Back during our own American Revolutionary War, a relatively small body of Patriots kicked the ass of the world?s (then) mightiest empire! And back about the same time that our Civil War was winding down, the (then) Mighty French were getting their tubes clean by a rag-tag group of Mexican Farm Boys!

Of course, what happened in Vietnam and Somalia was a catastrophe, generated in my opinion, by a scant few politicians attempting to run wars, instead of just their mouths!

Here in the Twentieth/Twenty-first Century, a new brand of warfare has been trust into our faces (well. maybe not so new)?! Terrorism, a war in which those on top feast high off of the hog, and/or keep themselves safely secluded in mental bunkers, while the people that they direct die all about them, seems to be a real bear to deal with! It (terrorism) is a war where all humanity is targeted, regardless of age or social station, and even the friends of the terrorist themselves, can often become fatalities, if they but fart in the wrong direction!


Get real amigos - this is not a time for diplomacy and olive branches alone, as Saudi Arabia, Israel and Casablanca just learned! And after the smoke cleared on 9/11, nary an olive branch was to be found anywhere in the carnage! As such, ?Kid Gloves Alone", will not protect one?s hands from shell fragments, nor will merely words of friendship shield one from a bomb blast!

I heard an interview today in which Arafat made it quite clear that he was still the controlling factor behind the new power!? Considering that, and the fact that deadly attacks in the Middle East (and elsewhere) are still taking place regularly, the newest ?Road Map For Peace? may be about effective as a leaky condom, or pre-used toilet paper? (opinion)

I will give the President credit, however, for his affirmative action against our enemies, his attempts at diplomacy in the Middle East, slapping down an arrogant UN and it?s platoon of infested hemorrhoids, and especially his grand speeches aimed at re-invigorated our sagging economy!

"Of course, most applause should be curtailed until (and if) the proof of the pudding is assured!"

Almost on a daily basis, or so it seems, some damned maniac is pulling the pin of terrorism, somewhere in the world! Innocent people are suffering and dying, all but the brains behind these horror shows that is!? And almost all of this blood-letting is orchestrated, not by the poor (they only die in these foreign generated schemes), but rather by some pampered little rich turd like Hussein or bin Laden, who?s sire apparently didn?t show him enough love or attention as a child! ?And for this oversight, the world dies, a little piece at a time!?

?It takes an entire world to insure peace, and only a handful of murderous fools to blow it to hell!? And when (and if) captured, these enemies of mankind are not gifted with torture, life imprisonment in some Dark-Ages Bastille, a short rope, or even a bullet in the head (as they have done to countless innocents, and even their own people in the past)! Rather, they enjoy (American Tax-Payer Paid) medical care, legal aid, three squares, humane treatment, and a decent roof!

So much, as of this moment, for most ?Road Maps To Peace", as up to this point, the only maps that I have seen have led to infected quagmires, lifeless bodies, and dead-ends! This is not the way that it has to be, but just the way that it is! (opinion)

A remedy to this pandemic madness must be found, but most political/diplomatic pills - used to this point in time, have been naught but placebos and sugar tits! (opinion) Of course, there has been one magnificent exception, it being the recent action in Iraq. It sent a message to all who would be Caesars, that it ain?t nice (or healthy) to mess with ?Lady Liberty!?
