USCGC Lilac to Sail Again
Looks like I can't get enough of old boats! The Old Light House Tender CGC Lilac(1933) is being restored. I've been asked to help spread the word. For information, please contact Huntley Gill (huntley@fireboat.org) Right now she is at Pier 40 in Manhattan and will have an active life starting in the next month or so. See our new website wwww.steamerlilac.org. We look forward to meeting lots of Lilac vets and Coasties are all welcome aboard any time.
Thanks, Bill Doherty
