What should Korean Vets' compensation be?
What should Korean Vets be compensated for?
More than they are now I suspect that the Vietnam Vets have the best documented list of ailments ... only some of which were approved for presumptive disability approval. Removing the 'dioxin-only' items (about 2) this could be the list for harm of the WWII vets, the Korean Vets, the 'gulf war syndrome' vets AND today's soldier ... and all those in between whether during war era or not: What for the Vietnam Vets? * Soft tissue sarcoma * Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma Hodgkin's disease Chloracne (this is from dioxin) Porphyria cutanea tarda (in genetically susceptible individuals) from ? Respiratory cancers (lung, larynx, trachea) Prostate cancer Multiple myeloma Chloracne is a specific acne-like skin disorder; PCT is a liver disorder characterized by thinning and blistering of the skin ?/ on Hepatobiliary cancers, Nasal/nasopharyngeal cancer, Bone cancer Female reproductive cancers (breast, cervical, uterine, ovarian) Renal cancer, Testicular cancer, Leukemia, Spontaneous abortion, Birth defects Neonatal/infant death and stillbirths, Low birthweight, Childhood cancer in offspring Abnormal sperm parameters and infertility ?/on: Cognitive and neuropsychiatric disorders Motor/coordination dysfunction Peripheral nervous system disorders Metabolic and digestive disorders (diabetes, changes in liver enzymes, lipid abnormalities, ulcers) Immune system disorders (immune modulation and autoimmunity) Circulatory disorders Respiratory disorders No evidence? of Skin cancers, Gastrointestinal tumors (stomach cancer, pancreatic cancer, colon cancer, rectal cancer), Bladder cancer, Brain tumors ____________________________________ "...to care for him who shall have borne the battle"Abraham Lincoln

common chemical of harm especially in war time periods, regardless of where or when
I feel there is common chemical of harm especially in war time periods, regardless of where or when, but cause of the chemical in explosions and many other sources Vietnam Vets have the best list of harm, however, it was the other chemical, not AO that caused the harm on 90% + of this list: http://www.valdezlink.com/re/achemicaltosuspect.htm I don't think researchers will ever figure it out BECAUSE it is not an easy task. Continually there are more than one variable going on at a time, and unless you look at the whole picture all the time, you won't recognize the CFIDS pattern for these groups Comments of a Korean Vet http://www.valdezlink.com/re/korea-wm.htm

"should be the presumptive disability approval list"
Margaret, People get sick, and sometimes it has nothing to do with Dioxin. Who do you blame if the person gets cancer and was not in the military? Lance Armstrong |

Harms civilians equally
Although the harm of BUTYL shows up strongly in periods of war. It was also a serious exposure for civilians ... especially from WWII on; but I think it started back in the mid 1300s when the Mongels and the Chinese were at war. Sometime after the firecrackers were invented
Fumes in eyes is the exposure The lines were so blurred between harm to civilians and to the 'gulf war syndrome' vet that the Institute of Medicine concluded about 2 years ago that there was no such thing as gulf war syndrome ... except for ALS there was no more higher incidence of health issues for them than for the general population That is so true. Butyl or Ethylene Glycol Monobutyl Ether or 2-butoxyethanol is the primary cause of autoimmune issues and cancers of every type It is not AO that is the biggest culprit of harm to the Korean or to the Vietnam vets .... How to prove the health harm & some thoughts for help Are you the famous Lance Armstrong? At the moment I'm a little pissed off that the cleaning products we use in our homes do not disclose this health hazardous component ... and by law, they do not have to. When I find out what is in Clean Shower, I suspect I will find this chemical .
