Arrow Is he that smart?

Barr's reputation and status among his fellow lawmaker's seems to have
put him in the trick bag.

Barr dug his own ditch - trying to alter the Judicial Outcome of the Law.
Doing the wishes of Trump to save his buddies/pals who go way back to
when corruption was less often nailed to the cross. Things have changed.

The system has to work (for all regardless of status or friendship) or it breaks
down into special groups of special classifications. Not right!

If the Judges found him guilty - then its their job to lock them up - the bad guys.
It's not Barr's job to over-rule Trumps buddies and their sentencing.

That's corruption in all cases.

The Law must apply to everyone - I mean everyone! Regardless of Status or Position.
