What is the propellant in PAM?
http://www.pam4you.com/pages/index_flash.jsp
I called right after I received the e-mail yesterday from another forum. I was put on hold twice and all the 'vital statistics' taken: What company did I have? Name, address, phone, fax (Companies do not have to give their MSDS info to individuals) Today I received the fax. They also did tell me yesterday that the propellant was nitrous oxide or 'laughing gas' like dentists use and that it does vaporize quickly. The faxed Material Safety Data Sheet says that (CAS # 10024-97-2) at 5% of product BUT it also says ethanol at 14% (CAS #64-17-5) Ah-ha That would be a propellant of conern in my opinion, although it is not one I have studied directly. http://home.gci.net/~blessing/pages/aerosol.htm#aerosol I was searching with a search engine & asking this question & lots of things about what the propellants were in rockets came up (?) It is almost in pure form in this product Rain-X Anti-Fog Towelette Auto products sheets 95-99% & this is what is said about it Put in CAS numbers here to find products & info on component: http://hpd.nlm.nih.gov/ingredients.htm
