Scout,
Since 9-11 I have flown my flag every day until it wore out. The flag was one flown over the capitol in my honor, on Veterans Day, 1987 when I left the VA for another VA assignment. Sen. Jay Rockefeller had it flown for me. Since then, that flag wore out but I have kept it's remains. Our Naval hospital had a Flag Day celebration last night. Yesterday morning I put up my brand new flag for Flag Day and for my continual support of our troopers in harms way. What was sad to me, in a military community, was the LACK of flags flying infront of peoples homes. Apathy will doom us all eventually. I'm just hoping I'm not around to see it. HAPPY FLAG DAY STARS AND STRIPES! Pack
