..."about the flag being too large, and overshadowing the rest of the parade etc, and that I had to swing it off to the side so it didn't "eclipise" the American flag".....

Isn't this the attitude of much of the American public these days....veterans and active duty soldiers have their job to do, but just get out of our face otherwise....as for the missing and dead you have a day, out of sight out of mind...these thoughts are reflected in the way the Congress votes on veteran's issues and the way the VA allocates its budget.

Curtis..GREAT JOB !!

Larry

Default Quick pics,...

...I'm sure there will be a ton of pics, once I can afford to get the film developed, and on disc, I'm not up on all this digital camera stuff,...

...I'll be getting a tape of the whole parade at some point in time as my buddy I work with used to work for Fox, localaly here, will send it around the route once I get it,...

...Steve, your wife and girls are a dream, to sit through that heat for 3 hours, and not a single complaint, or "whine" was amazing, adorable, and they look like their mother( ),...

...yea , we stole their thunder today, and really riled some feathers, but that flag did a lot of good for the program of rememberence, and that's the bottom line, they will never see the likes of anythingthat magnificient again,...

..."We miss them all"

...Tomorrow is mine

Fantastic! I don't think the flag is large enough. Tell them you are getting a bigger one next year.
