BAMC tests emergency capabilities during city-wide exercise

Brooke Army Medical Center received 42 "patients" made up in moulage to depict a wide range of injuries Oct. 11 during the largest city-wide San Antonio Mass Casualty Exercise and Evaluation to date. Nearly 700 volunteers and role players acting as victims, friends and family members participated in the annual exercise designed to assess the surge capabilities of the hospitals in the South Texas region under the Southwest Texas Regional Advisory Council umbrella.
