Losing Sight Of The Prime Mandate Of Government

When any group of people surrenders control over the actions of any member of their own duly elected government, then they also lose the right to control and direct the eventual dictates of that entire government! For if it is still true that “The People Are the Government And I Truly Believe That They Are”, then it is just as true that our people must demand, and retain, the right to expect courtesy and competence from those whom they have democratically and temporarily elected to fulfill their needs and their demands!

And should that government, or any member thereof, fail to perform their assigned duties and tasks or worse yet, they refuse to accept the fact that they are naught but a well paid employee and subject to immediate dismissal at the will of those very same people, or you silently accept or adopt this anomaly without a whimper of indignation or righteous and legal recourse, then it is you yourself who have become a vassal and a voiceless servant, to your own elected system of governance!

It is never, after all, any democratically elected group of peers who controls without question or oversight, but rather the people themselves who dictate the parameters of that government and its actions – within the laws of our nation, reason and logic of course - in my opinion!

And these were, in my opinion, what “Our Founders” had in mind when they penned “Our Constitution.”
