* A women in Bucha said Russian soldiers claiming to be liberators shot her husband before her.

* Iryna Abramov said in interviews that troops dragged her husband Oleg into the street on March 5.

* Russia is accused of killing 300 civilians in Bucha, with Zelenskyy and Biden accusing Putin of war crimes.

A resident of the Ukrainian town of Bucha, on the outskirts of Kyiv, said Russian soldiers came to her house professing to be liberators and then killed her husband in front of her.

After being controlled by Russian forces for weeks, Bucha was recently reclaimed by Ukraine, with authorities later saying that Russian troops had killed more than 300 civilians while there.

In a video interview shared by Ukraine's Ministry of Culture and in a separate interview with the BBC, the Bucha resident Iryna Abramov said Russian troops stormed her home on March 5 and dragged her husband, Oleg, into the street.

"They didn't ask anything or say anything, they just killed him," she told the BBC. "They only told him to take off his shirt, kneel down, and they shot him."

In the interview posted to social media, Abramov said the Russian troops had first told them: "We are liberators, we have come to liberate you."

Abramov told the BBC that after shooting Oleg, the soldiers told her and her 72-year-old father Volodymyr that they had three minutes to leave the house, meaning they had to leave Oleg's dead body on the street.

She said the body on the street there for a month while they sheltered nearby, before Ukrainian forces collected it and took it away, the BBC reported. Volodymyr Abramov told the BBC he does not know where his son-in-law's body is.

Iryna Abramov said her husband's blood still stained the street on the spot where he was killed, the BBC reported.

Following reports and images of dead bodies in Bucha, both Ukraine and US President Joe Biden labeled President Vladimir Putin a war criminal, and the US called for Russia to be suspended from the UN Human Rights Council.

Russia said images of the dead were fabricated to paint Russian troops as villains. Insider's Tom Porter has published a timeline undermining that claim.

Speaking from Bucha on Monday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that there may be worse war crimes yet to be discovered by Ukraine as its forces reclaim land in the north of the country.

"There is already information that the number of victims may be even higher in Borodyanka [another town near Kyiv] and some other liberated cities," he said.

* Ukraine said at least 300 civilians were killed in Bucha, a town near Kyiv.

* Ukraine's president and prosecutor general said nearby Borodyanka could have a higher death toll.

* Ukraine said people in Bucha were shot in the head with their hands tied and women were raped.

Ukraine said the town of Borodyanka, near Kyiv, would likely record a higher death toll than Bucha, the town where hundreds of civilians were estimated to be killed and Russia was accused of war crimes.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy spoke about Bucha in a Tuesday speech, where he added that the death toll could be higher in other cities that Ukraine recently reclaimed from Russian forces. Ukraine said it retook control of Bucha earlier this week.

"There is already information that the number of victims of the occupiers may be even higher in Borodyanka and some other liberated cities," Zelenskyy said.

"In many villages of the liberated districts of the Kyiv, Chernihiv, and Sumy regions, the occupiers did things that the locals had not seen even during the Nazi occupation 80 years ago. The occupiers will definitely bear responsibility for this," he continued.

Ukrainian officials said about 300 people were found dead in Bucha after Russian forces left the town. But Zelenskyy said the death toll there would likely rise as officials and investigators looked through the town.

Note: Here's another Video - On site only pretty graphic:

Iryna Venediktova, Ukraine's prosecutor general, also said Borodyanka likely had a higher death toll than Bucha.

She told Ukrainian TV that "in fact, the worst situation with civilian victims is in Borodyanka," The Guardian reported.

Russia has been accused of war crimes in Bucha, and Zelenskyy accused Russia of genocide there.

The Zelenskyy advisor Oleksiy Arestovych said on Sunday that some victims there were shot in the head with their hands tied behind their back, and that some women there were raped before they were killed.

US President Joe Biden called Russian President Vladimir Putin a "war criminal" over the events in Bucha and said he was planning more sanctions.

Personal note: These are definitely "War Crimes Against Humanity"
This is not to say this hasn't happen in past conflict or wars in out
many we've seen and fought in. The slaughter of innocent people
is a sickness within the ranks and the leaderships approval.
These ungodly acts of brutality are disgusting and must end.
