Battle of the Pineapple

Patrick, I coved this in a post to Matt but briefly, the area had no
pineapples. The area was called the Pineapple Forest because that particular
area west of Tam Ky looked like a pineapple on the topo map due to the topo
lines and greens and brown color. You need a 1:25,000 map to see it and then
you have to use a bit of imagination as is usual on these map things.

In some old links that you sent me long ago (best I remember) I found that the
Marines called this area the Pineapple Forest also we they worked it before the
Americal..
