Default world's oldest cat at 33 ?

http://news.bbc.co.uk/cbbcnews/hi/an...00/3520218.stm

A moggie who was rescued from a dustbin as a kitten is celebrating his 33rd birthday and a new record as Britain's oldest cat alive.
Whiskey has been through nine lives and 231 cat years, and only has a few grey whiskers to show for it.

The black and white moggie beats the previous oldest pussy, Spike, who went to feline heaven in 2001 at 31.

Officially, the oldest cat in the world is 27. Guinness World Records says Whiskey could be the new record holder.

Spike was Britain's oldest cat, but died in 2001
A spokesperson at Guinness World Records told Newsround that all they need is to see is signed vets' statements which say Whiskey is as old as his owner, Jean Stone, says he is.

After they get those statements, Whiskey could enter the record books and take the crown from the Burmese moggie, called Kataleena Lady, who holds the record at the moment.

She was born on 11 March 1977 and currently lives in sunny Melbourne, Australia.

Default Cats

They don't taste very good after they reach 5 or so.

If that cat was born in '77, wouldn't it be only 27?

This is the cat that currently holds the record. LOOK closely, it lives in AUSTRAILIA and it's not even the same GENDER. Not the same cat.

If your going to be an internet flamer, you need to pay attention to detail, or you'll only make yourself look even dumber then you already appear.
