After 15 years of stalled modernization, the Philippine Navy is again hopeful it will be able to procure modern equipment to secure the country’s coastline, after President Benigno Aquino III announced in his State of the Nation Address plans to lease out the Navy Headquarters in Roxas Boulevard, Manila.
