Poison attempt at Fort Jackson?

Fox News is currently reporting that five individuals, allegedly Muslim, are being investigated for poisoning the food supply at Fort Jackson. This is apparently connected to an Arabic language translator program on base.

I’ll post more information as it comes.

Fort Jackson is located in South Carolina and is the largest training base in the Army.

UPDATE: CBN News has more information about the poison attempt:

A source with intimate knowledge of the investigation, which is ongoing, told CBN News investigators suspect the “Fort Jackson Five” may have been in contact with the group of five Washington, DC area Muslims that traveled to Pakistan to wage jihad against U.S. troops in December. That group was arrested by Pakistani authorities, also just before Christmas.

UPDATE: Fox News has a statement from a spokesman for the Army Criminal Investigation Division.

The Army is taking the allegations “extremely seriously,” Grey said, but so far, “there is no credible information to support the allegations.”

The suspects were part of a Arabic translation program called “09 Lima” and use Arabic as their first language, two sources told Fox News. Another military source said they were Muslim.

A 21-year-old New Jersey man accused of kidnapping his 3-month-old daughter and throwing her off a bridge is described by his father as a devout Muslim who prayed regularly and is said to have immediately visited mosques and confessed to an imam following his crime.
Shamsid-Din Abdur-Raheem, an aspiring lawyer and student at Richard Stockton College, reportedly held a leadership position in the Muslim Student Association at Stockton, according to college senior Zaw Win. The group's member and officer list has been disabled on its website.

Is it that they've done this all along and it was never reported - or is it something in their diet? Whatever it is - they have a "REAL" PROBLEM! Are these born again Muslims - I have some serious doubts about these folks. It must be a genetic affliction. We all know the more education they get - they still commit these awful things. Are they worthy - is their God not affected by this type of atrocities. I don't need this God in my life. Sure we have some nut cases as well - but lately these Muslims are like their not playing with a full deck.

They may be a small minority of Muslims but they are sure making their religion look pretty bad. I think all these facilities will find it tough not to be under watch 24/7. They've got nobody to blame but themselves on the bad feed back and media attention. It could become open season on many of them - just from the fear that they may be suicidal.

They better watch - they don't have an open season on Muslims - it could get real nasty. Maybe they have a malady that hasn't been discovered yet. We better feed them saltpeter for a few years and see if this doesn't fix their symptons?
