Drive-Thru Flu Clinic readies community for winter wellness
According to the CDC, one hundred years ago in 1918, the flu pandemic shattered many homes throughout the U.S. taking approximately 675,000 lives. Today, we are more transient thanks to a populous of trains planes and automobiles. Many people have an opinion about getting the influenza vaccine--good, bad and indifferent. However, the Centers for Disease Control reports the level of flu activity is low right now, but is expected to pick up in the coming weeks.
