When I was a new guy I hated the short timers going around hollering 'SHORT'. I never kept a calander but counted down the days in every letter home. Most of the people in my company were taken off 'the road' 30 days before their year was up. I don't know what hapened when my time came. I was out every day until I left for Danang to process out.

Short? Heck been short all my life. Was screaming "SHORT" when I got off the plane at Tan Son Nhut, but we all had calanders to mark off the days every wake up within 30 days and made sure that anyone who hadn't earned his calander knew when we marked off a day. At ten days got a swager stick from the CO, but I lost mine on the way to my seperation physical.

Cool Shorttimers Ltd

It felt so good to be short it would have been a shame for it to completely end. So I opened a store... stop on by: shorttimers dot com.

I had a 9 month short timers calender of a pregnant woman from the Stars and Stripes and then extended for six months. Quickly lost interest in it. I still have it somewhere in a box with all my stuff. Anyway I only served a couple weeks of my extension because of Nixon.
