Update on Marinevet
I received the following info today (4/9/04) from Teresa who is Wayne's deputy:
82Rigger: He is in good spirits however he had another "spell" and failed the stress test. He will be transported to Pitt Memorial Hospital for further testing and possible procedures. Thanks for your concern and PLEASE pass this along to everyone you can. Thanks, Teresa

for the update, Steve. Sounds like they're aggressively digging for the cause. If he's having such obvious symptoms, I'm sure they'll pinpoint it soon and proceed accordingly. Continued prayers for him.

A little while ago I asked Teresa for another update on MARINEVET, and the following is what she sent back. SF H_____ ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------- He should be coming home today or tomorrow. Pitt Memorial did some procedures and he is well and in good spirits! Was just surfing around and checking the subjects ... someone please fill me in on what has been going on with the colonel's health ... what happened initially, as in the event and what date ... and if anyone can, or does talk to him by phone, please say hey from Beau and that I am thinking of him and his family.

Next step after failing a stress test is a heart cath. Then comes the angioplasty to open clogged arteries. Then home. Sounds like the best of outcomes. Hang in there, buddy.
