This was part of Yudh Abhyas, an exercise that enhances the joint capabilities of both nations through training and cultural exchange, and helps foster enduring partnerships in the Indo-Asia Pacific region.“I am excited to see how the Indian and American forces work together and see how the Indian weapon systems compare to ours,” said Spc. Kevin Hunt, a Soldier with 1-23 Infantry. “I am excited to learn as much as I can from the Indian army. The Indian army Soldiers are friendly and are very welcoming and knowledgeable.” It great being in India, said Pvt. Christian Perez, a Soldier with 1-23 Infantry. He 19 years old and India is the first country he has visited outside of the U.S.“Learning from the Indian army has been a lot of fun,” said Pvt.
