New Year`s Eve 1967
Sitting here tonight with the neighborhood yokels blasting away with their fireworks sorta gave me a bit of deja vu.I was at Phu Loi base camp in a bunker on perimeter guard and everything that was going on was distant and echoing kinda like these fireworks. Most of New Year`s Eve 1967 was eerily quiet and subdued, but you just knew that the shit was about to hit the fan.28 days later it did...in spades!

It was great seeing you last week, Bro. Have a Peaceful night, and a Great New Year. I know it's easy for our minds to wander back on these major holidays, and that can be a healthy thing if we just remember them instead of relive them. Remember the difference, my friend.
Welcome Home.
