Packo and Andy have arrived
They arrived safely to upper East Tennessee today. I'm going to give them the Fred Tour of all the local historical sites. Packo has already been through the town ( Erwin, Tennessee) that hung an elephant for the murder of her trainer. They called her Murderous Mary and used a railroad crane with a chain as a rope. Will post pictures later.

I know you boys and girls are going to have a great time and all, but alittle advice. Knowing those other 2 Toms as I do, I suggest you mark the level of the liquor in the house and regularly taste it to see if it's been watered down
 . Also, don't leave any loose change layin' around . I know you'll show them a good time, but don't walk those 2 flatlanders too hard. Especially Packo, with that junk yard hip of his  . Wish I could be there with you.

however i!ll just have to make do in paris I!ll be getting down to Tennessee next year during the Zydeco season, got some friends i want to meet there-- frisco tom--wanna go?? au revoir james

Thought I knew the Tn. huntin regs pretty well but...elephant and Zydeco?Somebody must be holdin out on me again.And what's with this hangin thing?Y'all hang them 'phants like the British do woodcock to let em "ripen"?Believe I'd be careful not to overdo that.Just what kind of a critter is a "Zydeco" anyway?Do they eat good?Need a special tag? Be well all.

Well,
They have almost seen it all here. I got them to Upper Pig Pen Road, I got them to Lower Pig Pen Road, I got them to Pogie, I even got them to Pigeon Roost. But sadly, we didn't have time for Frog Level or The Bitter End.

I'm jealous with a pout on my face...
I feel like running away from home... A tour of the Promise Land (East TN) with 1CAV... A true spiritual experience and I missed it....
