Default I got a thumbs-up today !

I was stopped at a light and a fellow in a white van stopped beside me and gave me a thumbs-up and pointed to my bumper. I rolled the window down and he say he was in Vietnam too. He served with the Americal Division, 11th Brigade, 1/20 in 1970, and was at Duc Pho. He mentioned this was Calley's unit. I gave him a "Welcome Home" and offered to buy him a cup of coffee. He had a wide smile and he said he was delivering flowers and I didn't get a chance to get his name. Your bumper is a good place to make a statement. Mine reminds those that look at it that I am not ashamed I served in Vietnam, and they should remember those that gave the ultimate sacrifice. Veterans of all eras are dying at a much greater rate than they are being replaced. We have to take care of each other....
